Gus Brookshier — Founder, Owner, & Lead Journeyman Plumber

My name is Gus Brookshier, and as the owner and operator, I take great pride in offering reliable, high-quality water heater installation, maintenance, and repair. 

Plumbing runs deep in my family. Born and raised in Idaho Falls, I grew up surrounded by skilled plumbers, including my grandfather and uncle, both of whom were well-respected in the field. Their legacy of craftsmanship and hard work inspired me to pursue plumbing as a career from a young age. After starting my apprenticeship at J&R Plumbing in 2017, I earned my journeyman plumber certification by 2021. In 2024, I founded Just Water Heaters with the goal of offering straightforward, trustworthy water heater services to our community.

​As I was getting certified as a journeyman plumber, I recognized the need for high-integrity water heater services in this area. Just Water Heaters was founded to provide a simple solution for water heater replacement, maintenance, and repairs. We do not come into your home and participate in predatory upselling; we offer transparent pricing, reliable service, and put the customers’ needs first.
